CK is a vision procedure that uses radio frequency (RF) energy instead of a laser to reshape the contours of the eye. By changing the way the cornea (the clear front surface of the eye) directs light to the rest of the eye, CK effectively treats the condition known as hyperopia (farsightedness). There is no cutting or removal of tissue. It is fast and convenient. It can be performed in an office rather than a surgery center.

The ideal candidate for CK is over 45 years old, has good distance vision, and hates reading glasses.
