Please visit these professional links to several medical insurance websites. Our office is on many panels, but not all. Some plans will have a “Routine Eye Exam” benefit. If not, our office can accept your medical insurance if there is a medical reason for the visit. For example, with a complaint of “itchy red eyes,” or diabetes, or another medically related reason the visit may qualify for reimbursement by the medical insurance. “Refraction,” that is the testing of the eyes for glasses prescription, is not covered by most medical insurance and will be charged to the patient.
