Intacs are a non-laser method to correct nearsightedness. Intacs are corneal ring segments. They gently change the natural vision by placing the two ring segments between the layers of the outer cornea (away from the center). The procedure is FDA approved.

Visual results are excellent. It is maintenance free. Intacs can be removed or replaced, unlike laser surgery. On average, most people resume normal activities within two to three days of the procedure.
